Indicações:
Mastifin® is indicated for the treatment of bovine mastitis, caused by microorganisms sensitive to Gentamycin, such as: Corynebacterium bovis, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus dysgalactiae and Trueperella pyogenes.
Directions and Dosage:
Perform, when needed, the washing of the udder and proceed with the handling of cleaning through pre-dipping. After the milking apply through the intramammary route, the whole content of 1 syringe, which is, 10 g of Mastifin® in each affected quarter. After the application, for a better dispersion of the product at the mammary gland, it is recommended to massage the udder from bottom to top.
After the use of the product, clean the udder post-milking, through pre-dipping. Mastifin® must be applied in each affected quarter for three consecutive days, with 24-hour intervals between applications.
CAUTION: COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING GRACE PERIODS
BOVINE
Slaughter: the slaughter of the animals treated with this product must only be carried out 22 days after the last application.
Milk: the milk of the animals treated with this product must not be intended for human consumption for up to 7.5 days after the last application of this product.
