Main Indications:

Superhion® is a pour on ectoparasiticide for bovine, composed of an association between Fipronil and Fluazuron, indicated in the strategic control of ticks and horn flies, and for the treatment of botflies and myiasis. Single dose treatment.

Parasites to which the use of Superhion is indicated:

Ticks: Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus.

Flies: Horn Fly Haematobia irritans.

Botflies: Dermatobia hominis larvae.

Myiasis: Cochliomyia hominivorax larvae.


Directions and Dosages:

Superhion® must be administered through the topical route (pour on), with application in the whole dorsal line of the bovine, from the middle of the neck to the insertion of tail, at the dose of 1 mL for every 10 kg bodyweight.

Dose equivalent to 1 mg of Fipronil and to 3 mg of Fluazuron per kg bodyweight. The product must not be administered in periods with the chance of rain.

BOVINE SLAUGHTER:

THE SLAUGHTER OF THE ANIMALS TREATED WITH THIS PRODUCT MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT 54 DAYS AFTER THE LAST APPLICATION.

MILK: THIS PRODUCT MUST NOT BE APPLIED IN FEMALES PRODUCING MILK FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
