COLOSSO AVICULTURA é is indicated to combat and control environmental infestations by Alphitobius diaperinus (lesser mealworm) and Dermanyssus gallinae (red mite) in poultry farms intended to the production of poultry meat and egg-laying animals.
Considering that the mealworm operates in the transmission of the virus of Gumboro disease, enterobacteria such as Proteus vulgaris, Enterobacter spp, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Salmonella and protozoa Eimeria sp (cause of intestinal coccidiosis), the use of COLOSSO AVICULTURA helps to prevent these diseases. Parasitism by D. gallinae makes the birds weak and is responsible for triggering anemic conditions, late development and decrease in egg production, besides being a possible carrier of Salmonella spp, P. multocida, Chlamydia spp, Listeria monocytogenes, avian sarcoma leukosis virus and virulent Newcastle disease. Therefore, COLOSSO AVICULTURA also acts indirectly in the prevention of these complications.
Directions and Dosage:
COLOSSO AVICULTURA must be administered through spraying, with the option to use in atomizers at the poultry premises, intended to meat and egg poultry farming, without the presence of the birds at the moment of administration. After removing the birds, the poultry farm must be submitted to usual cleaning and disinfection procedures, prior to product application, according to the tables in the leaflet.
CAUTION: COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING GRACE PERIOD
POULTRY (Gallus gallus domesticus/MEAT AND EGG PRODUCING)
MEAT AND EGGS: THE PRODUCT DOES NOT REQUIRE GRACE PERIOD FOR THE SLAUGHTER OF POULTRY OR FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF EGGS FROM FARMS THAT RECEIVED THE PRODUCT.
