FOS 350

FOS 350 has broad tissue distribution and low association with plasma protein, ensuring grace period of only 24 hours (SPINOSA et al., 2011).

Indication:

FOS 350 is an antimicrobial indicated for Gallus gallus domesticus species (broilers, broiler matrices and commercial laying hens) to control and treat diseases caused by: Escherichia coli, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus sp.

Directions and Dosage:

FOS 350 must be administered orally, mixed to the water or animal food, for 3 to 5 consecutive days or at the discretion of the veterinarian.

Dosage: 40 mg of Fosfomycin/kg bodyweight, corresponding to:
 

Broilers:

800 g to 2.000 g FOS 350/ton of animal food.

400 g to 1.000 g FOS 350/1.000 liters of water.
 

Broiler matrices and Commercial Layers

2.000 g FOS 350/ton of animal food.

1.000 g FOS 350/1.000 liters of water.

The efficacy of antimicrobials depends on the sensitivity of the microorganisms to the active ingredients that make up the product and on the appropriate compliance with the recommendations of the veterinarian who prescribed the drug, such as dose, treatment time and number of applications.

SLAUGHTER: THE SLAUGHTER OF THE ANIMALS TREATED WITH THIS PRODUCT MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT 06 DAY AFTER THE LAST APPLICATION.

EGGS: THE EGGS OF TREATED ANIMALS MUST ONLY BE INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION 12 DAYS AFTER THE LAST APPLICATION. BEFORE THIS PERIOD, EGGS MUST BE DISCARDED.
