Conclue Dermatofitose

Purpose of the Test:

The concludes dermatophytosis is a culture medium for in vitro detection of the growth of pathogenic keratinophilic microorganisms called dermatophytes, causative agents of dermatophytosis in dogs and cats, from a sample of hair or scales of the affected skin region of the animal.

Composition:

Test tube containing 5.5 mL of orange-colored culture medium.

Test principle:

The dermatophytosis concludes has as principle the visual observation of change of color of the culture medium, between the second and the sixth day (or within a week), from the inoculation of sample containing pathogenic dermatophytes in the culture medium.

The presence of dermatophyte fungi in the tested sample will modify the coloration of the medium from Orange to red.
