Sulfadimethoxine .......... 115.00 mg

Ormetoprim .......... 23.00 mg

Vehicle q.s. .......... 400 mg
 

Each 1600 mg tablet contains:

Sulfadimethoxine .......... 460.00 mg

Ormetoprim .......... 92.00mg

Vehicle q.s. .......... 1600 mg

 

 

Main Indications:

Trissulfin® SID is an association between Ormetoprim and Sulfadimethoxine; two antimicrobial of synergic association, with maximization of the action of Sulfadimethoxine due to the association to Ormetoprim. It is indicated to the treatment of bacterial infections that affect dogs and cats, caused by the agents Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus intermedius, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus zooepidermicus and Pasteurella multocida, and for the treatment of isosporiasis in dogs, caused by Cystoisospora canis and Cystoisospora ohioensis.

Some diseases that affect cats and dogs, usually associated to microorganisms sensitive to Trissulfin® SID, are present in the table contained in the leaflet.
