Phenylbutazone ...................... 20.00 g

Fenilbutazona OF is indicated in the treatment of inflammatory processes, fever and pain in equine. It presents anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic action.
Directions and Dosage:
Fenilbutazona OF must be applied through the slow intravenous route, according to the following dose
Apply only through the slow intravenous route, at the dose of 4,4 mg/kg, which is, 1 mL/45 kg bodyweight per day, for 3 to 5 days.
In the first day of treatment, 4.4 mg/kg may be administered twice, with an interval of 12 hours, which constitutes "loading dose".
Do not exceed the dose of 4,0 g Phenylbutazone per animal/day.
If there is no significant clinical effect in 5 days, the diagnose and treatment must be re-evaluated.
