Purpose of the Test:

The Concluse CCV / CPV is a kit for rapid and qualitative detection of the causative agent of canine coronaviosis (CCV) and canine parvovirus (CPV) from a dog stool sample.

Composition:

Test device: anti-coronavirus and anti-parvovirus monoclonal antibodies.
Test solution: buffer solution for sample dilution.

Test principle:

The CCV/CPV Concluse is a primary immunochromatographic serological test.

The test device consists of a nitrocellulose membrane in which the T1 and T2 Test lines are located, in which the first is impregnated with anti-coronavirus monoclonal antibodies and the second with anti-parvovirus monoclonal antibodies, and the Control Line (C), which is impregnated with the control reagent.

The test also consists of a polyester membrane impregnated with monoclonal antibodies conjugated to colloidal gold particles (conjugated gold).

When the device is filled with the test solution containing the dissolved biological sample, the conjugated gold migrates with the sample by capillarity, allowing them to come into contact with the anti-CCV and anti-CPV monoclonal antibodies, present in their respective Test lines (T1 and T2).

If the tested sample is positive for CCV or CPV antigen, the result will be visible within 10 minutes in the form of a reddish or purplish line in the area of the T1 or T2 Test line of the device, respectively.

If the tested sample is positive for CCV and CPV antigens, the T1 and T2 Test lines of the device are formed.

If the result is negative for both antigens, the T1 and T2 Test lines will not be formed.

The solution and the conjugated gold will continue to migrate through the device, then producing a line in the Control Area (C), due to the encounter with the control reagent, regardless of whether the test result is positive or negative.
